Lets see we have had "wagon wheels" Gumby's etc. I just got finished giving these wheels a good look see and "Forked Tongue" screams out at you when looking at these wheels.

So far, I'm not in love with the gills or these wheels. But I'm being a little premature . . . probably.
I can't agree more. The "gills' as you call them just do not work for me at all. The wheels look like something out of a fantasy flick or as someone said Orange County Choppers. Sat in a lawn chair in the shade yesterday for most of an hour and took a good look at the GS. I'm just not impressed.
They they used this wheel design and you can see why i thought they may have borrowed the gill look too
Great scoop Pimper! Yo The Man! I'll say the smaller gills and subtler wheels looks much better on the Ferrari Calif than the GS though. They also copied some of that squared off edge look found around the lower B pillar/door handle area of the C6 from the Ferrari Enzo as well.
