Default maxxed out front bolts, how to go lower?!?

Well I put a kit on my car from WCC... C6 bolts I believe up front and longer out back. The fronts are maxxed out, low as I can go. Stance was perfect, set the rear to match. Recently changed shocks and the front rides about half inch higher now. I've driven it enough where it should be settled down to normal by now but it's still high. Anything else I can do besides removing the front bolt to go another half inch? Thanks!

You would actually have to cut out the front bushings. By doing so the car will ride rougher than normal. I lowered mine on the stock bolts and it took a little over 100 miles for it to really settle. Once it did, the front got low. Low enought where I scrape my air damn on everything.

You can't just remove the bolts completely...the steel threaded part of the spring will ride directly against the control arm, gouging the $hit out of it. I made some thin nylon insulators (.1", I think) that keep the two seperated, while giving maximum drop.

Yea I know, I've had my lowered on C6 bolts as stated in first post for a few thousand miles. Went much lower than the stock bolts did. However when putting new shocks in, the front doesn't want to go as low and I'm just looking to get it to about the height it was before

Could you post some pictures of how your front sits and also of the insulators you used if possible?

Using C6 bolts will lower you a bit more than stock C5 bolts
Here is the kit containing front C6 bolts, and longer rear bolts = $39.95

Default Want more lowness

He stated he "believes he has C 6 bolts up front. I think I would check to make sure what I had going on in the front, before I would ask for help. This is a shot of car w/ after market kit, w/no bushings, just comes w/ a thin rubber pad on the bottom. Rear is after market7" bolts w /about an inch of thread left on top. Seems as though it's harder to get a Z lower in the front. I would have to take the adjuster completly out to get down another 3/8"-1/2".

Shocks do not change ride height. They do not support the weight of the car so I would go back over your front end and check the installation. The height should not have changed. You didn't say what kind of shocks though because Bilsteins do take a little while to settle down due to the gas pressure. I wouldn't remove the bolts. Regardless of what others may have done it is not a good thing for the front end components.

fellas fellas fellas... your killing me here, haha. Not to sound rude but take a second and read my posts and most of what your asking has been addressed. I have the aftermarket bolt kit from WCC, no stock bolts on the car. Up front is a bolt with a single layer bushing, believe it's a C6 but either way, its to go lower than a stock bolt will. I just added PFADT 16 way adjustable inverted sport shocks....... With that being said, I am not changing my shocks out, going to coilovers, etc.

As I removed my stock shocks, I noticed they were much softer than the PFADTs indicating they may have allowed my car to settle lower than the PFADTs are. We're only talking 1/2" here but what can I say, I'm ****.

I am trying to get my stance as level as I can so the fender to RIM gap is the same front and back for a clean look. After the shock install, I am 1/2" farther away up front. Front ground to top/middle of fender I am at 26" up front and 26.5" out back.

Here are some pics of the stance how it was on stock shocks...

Pic I just took a few minutes ago. At least 100 miles on the new shocks thus far.

As of right now, I am very interested in removing the bolts and looks like a road I may be taking Thanks!

I don't think its possible to go lower than this without coilovers. The insulators I ended up using are about .075" thick, and I had to contour the side of the spring a little so it wouldnt touch the arm(no pics, sorry). I'm running 285/35-18's on 10.5 rims. I also trimmed about an inch of the bottom off the air dam, and I honestly can't remember the last time it scraped. Here's what I ended up with...
