I don't normally post on the C-4 site, but a friend has two very low mile C-4 cars. A 88 red / red convertible with 2050 miles, 4+3 tans, and a 92 red /black coupe with 2700+ miles.
He has heard that banks are NOT financing C-4 cars due to the economy? Is that true ?
He wants to sell the cars and is trying to figure what way to go.
Banks pretty much don't finance on anything that old, I highly doubt all the banks agree'd to dis the C4.
I've seen ads in Corvette trader that you can buy pretty much anywhere, that say we'll finance any car in the magazine, and it has a bunch of C4's in it.
A lot of banks prefer not to finance cars older than 7-10 years... Same with credit card companies and the like. Some also won't let you take out a loan to pay a private seller. They will only let you deal with dealers. Another option would be to take out a personal loan, but it seems the APR's tend to be a little higher. You can then buy what ever your little heart desires.
Kind of a PITA if you don't have cash money up front.
