Default VIDEOS - 4 new PB's set at PBIR 1-12-11. Big thanks to our guest coach, Ranger

On January 12, 2011, while it snowed a foot in NY, we had unusually good weather at Palm Beach International Raceway, with DA's dipping to -900 and relative humidity in the 35% range which is VERY rare for our area.

We had the good fortune of having a guest coach that evening, none other than Ranger himself. Ranger was a wonderful coach to all, helping 4 Vette racers achieve new PB's and sharing enough tips to fill a book.

Here are some videos from the evening. Nice to re-live a great evening while preparing these. Best part of all was we all drove home.

My only run of the night. I need a couple/three runs to get in my groove, but now that I've got my 10 second slip...I'm not so keen to beat on my 49,000 mile, 433 pass stock clutch anymore.

Justasheet's new PB. His car ran dead nuts consistent all night, 11.4's. It's a fresh build, cam only car, 3200 stall, headers. Great performance for low mods. Looks and sounds great Jeff! A happy HP Sales-Pompano customer.

TKR's amazing run, placing him #2 on the C6Z Fast list (internal mods category)...Tom has only 18 runs total in this car, and hasn't raced since the 80's prior to this.
He ran 10.77, 10.95, 10.83, 10.85, 10.49, 10.46. Prior to 1/12/11, he'd never ran a 10 second run in his life. Amazing improvement from his first few passes of a few weeks ago (I won't mention the times a few weeks ago). Tom you are a quick study indeed.

It's a 08 Z06, cam, headers, RPS dual carbon clutch, 3.90 gears. Amazing performance. Another happy HP Sales - Pompano customer.

Here's his best run.

Paul, (SaleenS281S/C) set a new PB on his first outing in his bone stock, DR only C6 Z06, but no good videos. Next time Paul. Nice to meet you!

This 2011 Mustang is out there a lot. This thing is really fast for his mods and he drives the bejeezus out of it. Always a fun watch.

Ranger thanks again for all your help.

Boys lets do it again before summer hits next month.

I think that one's a little lighter if I recall correctly...I'll ask him next time what his mods are.

Here's a couple better ones from their you tube page.

[yt]lO8niJ66hEg&hd=1/[yt]

He doesn't hit every pass, and when he loses it, it's scary. That thing gets out of shape real fast. He's a good driver, he always reels it in. He follows my golden rule...when in doubt, let out. Live to race another pass.

Here's another fast car that's out there a lot. Nice guy. This thing is the fastest stock turbo GTR apparently. I don't know if he got his 9 sec slip or not, I didn't see it on Wednesday but he was there.

You should come join us on the next cool night. It's a lot of fun, we have a nice group to hang with.

Sorry about that dude, I didn't realize that was a PB and I didn't cut over...but no worries, hook up with theSubfloor, and next time out we'll get a video of you getting a 10!

What was your PB? Post it up. I think I have a decent video of you, not the PB, I'll post up if it panned out. I need a new vid camera.

Very nice, any time you can have Ranger watching your passes and giving you some constructive advice it's a great thing, the man truly knows what it takes to get these cars down the track quickly.

I doubt that car was full weight, looks like it had skinnies and at least the passenger seat out (and likely more).
Still fast as all hell though.
