actually found some answers-there isn;t any,the level is calculated thru computer algorithm
my prob is probly the temp sensor, since the coolant sensor is fluctuating more then normal

it measures a difference in temperature reading based on engine coolant temperature and engine speed to determine if the cooling system has a "LOW COOLANT" condition. The DIC message stays on for two ignition cycles
worded a different way... The "Check Coolant Level" message is triggered by an algorithm that compares the rise in coolant temperature over a given period of time.
if you have issues, and they dont go away, its possible thermostat replacement may fix it, or..
if it persists, i assume that the calculation can be recalibrated, money will fix anything
I had this problem to. Did some research here on the forum and found that disconnecting the battery for about 20min will reset the computer and clear the problem.
OK changed the sensor ($20 at AZ) and all back to normal. Was thinking that in extreme scenario if the sensor reads artificially low temp, then your engine may overheat ,since the fans won't come on.I doubt you'd even get the warning since the reading would be 'normal" range.Better safe then sorry I guess.

when you take off the driver side engine cover ,look on the head in front of the first spark plug.Has a two wire connector on it.Easy to remove when you take off the plug wire first.I used a little oversized deep well socket.
