Big thank you to the guys who helped get this event off the ground.
Hope to see a lot of you guys out there.

I attended the 2013 Bayou Drag Event in Houston this year and ran in True Street. The 30 mile cruise with a tagged and inspected car really helps to keep the racecars away and level the field.

For the record, I did not instigate-discuss-mediate any of that, but unfortunately for Tune Time they had a representitive speaking under their business name who has pissed off a lot of local racers and now your seeing a little bit of back lash from it.
I do not think it is fair that it is transferring into this event or towards Tune Time/yourself etc, but your not going to push away local racers and not hear about it later. Tune Time just needs to speak for themselves rather then letting others do it for them IMO, it's tough enough breaking into a new scene without starting behind the eight ball.
I'm really happy to see another shop step up and promote some local racing, and I look forward to hopefully be racing in the event myself as long as they have 14 second bracket class for me.

I'd like to see all fast cars excluding no one at these events. It wouldn't be the same without you guys.
As for the private rental scene.
In all fairness Doug you can't expect to be invited to every private party especially when at the time you were being a d*ck to the guy doing all the legwork for whatever reason and you guys simply weren't getting along. And I understand you said that you didn't necessarily want to go but it would have helped if you mentioned to them(not sure if you did or not) that you might not be invited under the circumstances.
That's how I saw it, nothing more nothing less despite all the hype people want to make of it.
I would like to think that's all in the past but people want to keep stirring it up and make it out to be more than it really was.

This reminds me of the old Charlie Brown Cartoons where all the adults just said "blah, blah....." I didn't understand it until I had a kid of my own and finally figured out it's because it doesn't matter what the adults are saying because the kids can't understand it.

Same case here. You post those pics and it doesn't matter what you type above it. I can't comprehend a word of it.
You're officially my favorite person of the day, regardless of who built your car.
