How come Chris Hill is listed as e-commerce Director on you web site. Also no 2014 show on your inventory.
Both Jay and I are using the account. Jay handles my parts and accessories. The 2014's aren't in inventory on the site because they literally came in today. They have to be inspected and cleaned and stocked in with photos and so on. Takes a day or two. I don't typically post here but I figured you guys would want to know about the C7's so I got on and committed to it for a few days to help answer questions and show video.
I agree. Cracks me up. You'd think folks were forced into buying a sports car at gun point or something. Like the price and want it - buy it. Don't the like price - move along.
Sounds like you will be keeping them with forum members. They
know better than too even play with your tad over. If i was
buying one, would not give you a $1 over

My remark about a tad over MSRP was a generalization due to the fact I didn't have my Chevy Sales manager around and I didn't want to speak out of place. Obviously everyone should go get the best price they can. I'm a huge supporter of enthusiasts and modders. That's why I told my store to sponsor this forum and try to help the best we can in parts and accessories. I'm not a sales person, I'm the E-Commerce Director and I just want to support this forum and do whatever we can for you guys.

I understand that since you are not in the sales department, you will need to confirm the price policy for forum members. I also understand that you may be doing a dealer mark-up for the cars in the showroom that could be negotiated by anyone that walks in.
What forum members expect is a price that is comparable to the price offered by other dealers on the forum. At this time that would be vip service with a no-haggle price of no more than msrp. A little bit less would even be better. I am sure that will be the case once you talk to your sales manager.
We will be waiting to hear about the forum member price. In the mean time, what can you do (excluding C7 sales price) to help support our forum members which was the original intent of your post

If you're going to ask more than MSRP, well okay, it's a free country--but why should anybody pay that when they can buy at MSRP from any other Forum dealer?

I don't believe we're actively trying to move our vettes over the forums. We're primarily here for parts and accessories and purchasing used vettes and supporting with Q&A and tech help. I apologize to anyone that thought different. Sponsoring this forum is extremely expensive so we want to take advantage of trying to help as many people as possible.

Read off or take pictures of the Gross weight numbers on the door of each car and post on the new weight thread, please.
Why are we as buyers taking this submissive stance and just assuming everyone will be charging MSRP or more, or asking the dealers what THEIR price is.
