I never meant to be 'condescending' at all, just by posting 'really?', really! My adding the 'Tirerack link specs' was meant to be informative FACTS, what else? Pointing out that mounting a 325 on a 10'' wheel is not a good idea seems to be of no benefit to the OP, even though a couple of others more less posted the same viewpoint.
Including you sir, thanks for adding the 'factual' fresh air input.
Why some guys fly off the handle so easily, ''I guess you have one in every crowd.... ''
frank
...the end
AND a simple "yes or no" would have sufficed......
The reality is ... you guys are both very smart and your input on the forum is valuable ... so when you see two titans lock horns... it makes me nervous... but, you guys really handled the whole thing very classy.
My hats off to both of you!
P.S. I have the Gen 2 supercar run flats in 325/30, and the fit is great. I have seen guys go 305/30 on a 10 inch wheel, but u can't find run flats, if that even matters to you.

Factory Reproductions is where all the sellers get the wheels from. I've already called FR and they're the ones that told me they will no longer carry the 19x11's.
Okay. Man, that sucks, but with the age of the c5, I imagine certain things have lost their demand. I found my set on ebay about a year ago. I guess I'll be in the same boat as you if I ever damage a wheel. The actual c6 19x12 would be another possible option. They stick out a little further though. I have seen threads on the forum with pictures. If that's not an option for you, then you might need to look into selling an unnecessary body part for a set of those wheels where you can have the width customized by adding a wider ring on a 2 piece wheel. I've seen threads on those also. If you had any old 10 inch wide wheel to barrow, I'd consider throwing a tire on it and look at it. Half inch on either side isn't that much distance. Idk, hope you get it worked out how you want it man.

He doesn't want to have to buy new rear tires... his 325s won't fit on a 19x10

I also considered the possibility of the C6 19x12's, but I don't care for the tire sticking out past the rear fender. I don't want to loose any paint or mess up the fender lip. Dip in the road... that kind of thing.
And yes, you will be in the same boat IF you ever bend a rear wheel.

You are correct, I just purchased the 325's and not looking to drop another boat load of money on tires....
Looks like I will have to start saving my pennies for the next few month and pick up some new wheels.
