FYI, and don't laugh because when i was first told this i did. I thought that the BSM was for looks and acted as protection from other car doors bumping into yours. A forum member corrected me stating @ approx. 150 mph they provide 14 lbs. of downward air force because of how they were wind tunnel tested by GM - true story or at least that is what i have been told ...................

So maybe you should have kept them ?
That is some great info ,!! Even better news for me since for drag racing downforce doesn't help ,!!! So maybe another reason I should of taken them off?
