I drove that 169 car in February. That is not me though. When following, You could often see light under 1/2 of one tire or the other of the vehicle ahead of you.
Yup. Look at right rear tire. Daylight baby. It wasn't the straight line speed that impressed me, it was how well it cornered. I had so much fun cornering on the track I signed up for may7-8 with comscc at New Hampshire motor speedway. No way you can push this car on the street

Looking at the car in front of me wasn't much on my to do list, other than to make sure i didn't run into them.
I found some of the people in front of me weren't in the proper lines, or position, for corners and I didn't need to be following their mistakes, so i was always looking at where i wanted to go and not paying much attention to them unless I got too close.
But yeah, the car handles so well it is wasted on the street, i am looking at some Hooked on Driving and Pro Automotive events at either Firebird or AZ Motorsports track in PHX this fall.
PS: I really bonded with #169. I wanted to take it home with me...

I don't know Pro Automotive but I run with NorCal HOD a lot and can say they operate a very organized and safe event. If the other regions are nearly as good then you'll have a hoot with them and will find their instructors are top-notch.
