Thank you, my wife and I feel we own a very special Corvette, well at least in our eyes. We have several "small" mods going on, try not to do too much.
I have some "junk" in my Torch Red, so I thought I'd post it in this forum where all the other TR-lovers will likely see it to see if anyone else has something similar.
It's not obvious, you need to get it right at a very flat angle with bright sun near sunset. If you can get the sun coming in a flat angle like that you can see a wash of it. Otherwise you almost never see it.
I confirmed via PPG there is no metallic in the formula, so I don't know what it is.
This is a picture up against a SnapOn shop light, one of the few ways you can get a photo of it. I'll go to the dealer to see what they have to say.
Dave, where exactly on the car is this? I have a similar rash on my fender flares esp drivers side. I think it's road rash. Have not been able to polish it out though.

It might be everywhere, but it's easiest to locate on the large flat surfaces like the hood. Hard to see on the sides, if at all. Not road-related on mine, it's too evenly distributed I think.

Although I love my TR with all chrome trim & wheels. I have to say I also really really like your car. Great looker.
