Test of tko performance blockit
I just finished testing the tko performance sound deadner kit.
The kit consists of a sound deadening mat and two rectangles of sound deadening material that are placed behind the seat backs. (For more info see www.tkoperformance.com )
First impressions:
The mat and seat back pieces are well made (the cut edges are very regular and even. The pieces are symmetrical ( I measured ) and look good. The fit of the mat in the cargo area of my c4 is excellent. The installation was very easy.
First test drive:
The first test drive can be summarized as: Amazing! I expected some improvement, but the I was amazed at how much. The exhaust resonance heard in the cockpit is very reduced and the tire/ pavement noise is also very reduced. I drove on several road surfaces including newly resurfaced, old pavement and concrete. The noise level in the cockpit was very reduced in every case. The high frequency noise on the concrete roadway was from the front tire area only.
A very good product and I can highly reccomend it.

Outstanding! Based on results like this we also received from our own testing, we are going to go ahead and release the Blockit Quick & Quiet for the C4.
Just so people understand.....
We developed a 3 piece mat system (one for the cargo and one for behind each seat) that you toss in your car and it quickly reduces the interior noise.

We have been selling thousands since 2008. We started with the C6, then the C7, C5 and now we received calls for the C4.
So we came on this forum and asked if C4 enthusiasts suffered from interior noise (exhaust, road & tire..etc) like the C5, C6 & C7 have.
Since it leaned heavy on the "Yes" Side, we then put out a few threads asking if anyone would want to help us. This way its good bias feedback too.
