Fairly new to the Forum. Recently purchased an 06 convertible in Victory Red with beige interior. I'm thinking of painting/changing the console from the base silver to Victory red. Have any of you already changed your console? Any pictures? I've included a couple of pictures of another Vette that already did this.
I am going to do mine LMB when I repaint the trunk lid. May also do my calipers when I do the brakes. I found a shop to paint the console which is a better price than buying them already done.
Yup been changing the interior of my VR vette for the last three years. I really do not like VR and cashmere. I think the darker reds look much better with color matched items. I have been changing some parts out for black/VR but have a few photos from the start of the project.

I've since changed out the carpet to black and put in cashmere floor mats.
I painted my 2006 console a darker gray color and it looks a lot richer.
I just couldn't convince myself to paint it Velocity Yellow.

I installed a 2008+ bezel in my 2005. Had the "pleather" trim around the edges replaced with stitched leather by DS Vettes. While at it, I put in stitched leather handles and boots. Here are the results.
