I've been a car nut my whole life, over 50 years of fun driving. While driving is always the objective the vehicle is also very important. From my early Corvair (4 carbs, manual trans) to my Cruze 6speed, my routine transportation had to fill the need for a sports/hobby car as well as daily duties. From custom wheels, headers, paint stripes, each car had to have some mark of uniqueness somewhere. Since I got my C4 a year ago I find that I really don't give a hoot about my other car other than it must perform its daily duties. It doesn't matter that its a couple years old or that its got some scratches and dents. Sure I'll change the oil and vacuum the seats but I have no desire to change anything, just to keep it running and reliable. The Vette takes care of everything else automotive. How about you?
Mines a Eagle Talon, I use it for just about everything. The Vette doesn't get driven much when it's working but it's always spotless, the same can't be said for my Eagle

12' Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude for the wife and for myself I have a 96' Caprice (89k miles) out of choice not out of desperation. I freakin love B-bodies! I had a 99' Blazer only a few months ago that had no rust (I'm in the rust belt) but the 4.3L decided it wanted to die. Sad. It's amazing how much of a connection you make with your vehicles over even just a few years. It's sad to see them go.
My daily driver is a 2005 Cadiliac CTS-V. 495hp LS3 Swapped in with a built T-56 6-speed. I drive it everyday rain or shine all year and its got lots of room pets, stuff, etc...
My Corvette and caddy together...
I used to just have a grand prix gtp for daily use, then I decided life was to short not to have a fun daily driver!
either an 89mustang GT, or my 05 corolla xrs, or my GMC Envoy, or a camaro. all depends what im in the mood for lol, and the weather during winter months.
It sure is. Yours looks great! At your elevation, with those mods, that thing must GO. What did you do about your shifter? And the rear?
Ya it keeps up with traffic. Shifter has revshift bushings, also trans mount and motor mounts. It is B&M short shift I think (cam with the car when I got it) and has a V2 ****, The rear was replaced by the previous owner with the 4th gen version, so far it has held up but one day when it gives out I'll get an 8.8 rear.
Yours looks great also, I like the red...Any mods on yours?

Stock other than mods to fix the problems that came w/the car (like the stock shifter, which was basically defective from the factory!).
*Custom (built by me) shifter mount, linkage combined w/a "PISSNUOFF" shifter
*Revshift motor mounts, diff mounts, trans mount.
I think that's about it. We love the thing, but it has had it's ISSUES, unfortunately. Power is good, but could use more tq at this elevation (7050' at our house). I love the steering, the structure, brakes, suspension, interior materials, looks...and that you can watch movies on road trips! Very handsome car, IMO.
