Pillar pod for a gauge
Has anyone ever used a pillar pod to mount an additional gauge to there c4? I ordered autometer 10191 and a vacuum gauge 2337. I do not want to drill any holes to route cables and vacuum line. But curious of anyone using this pod.

I have never done it in a C4, but every other one that I have done required 3 holes. Two to mount the pod and one to route the wires through. If you are concerned about drilling holes in the A pillar trim just buy another one to mount the pod to and keep the original one untouched.

Here is my set-up, one recommendation if you set it up with your lights, make sure you use red cover, won't bother your eyes at night.
One gauge was fuel pressure, other was vacuum but changed it with clock, cause could never see the radio clock it was so small.

I did order a pillar moulding from Dino's Corvette salvage today and will use that to mount the pod and vaccum gauge when they come. I am getting the accumeter 2337 that has the differen section colors on the face. Not sure how bright it will be at night. Routing the vacuum through firewall will be the greatrst challenge. I will come off the line that comes from my optispark that I upgraded that has the vacuum lines. Hopefully this will help me on fuel economy. Looking forward to the fuel economy run at Eureka Springs Arkansas Corvette Weekend October5-7.
