My Vette is mine. It's an MN7, so my wife can't drive it, which is fine with me. My wife, however, absolutely loves riding in it. In fact, she pushed hard for me to buy it.
10 years ago, we were driving PCH, when a new generation C6 passed us going the other way, whipping my wife's head around 180 degrees as she screamed "That's what I want!" with the unspoken understanding that I, of course, would pay for it. She asked me what it was, then immediately demanded that we visit a Chevy dealer, which we did. She was talking the salesman up like crazy, destroying my negotiating position with her enthusiasm, til I threw cold water on the whole thing by coolly informing the salesman that I was the one with the checkbook, before walking out. My wife was pretty unhappy til I told her, a week later, that I ordered from MacMulkin. She was thrilled, to say the least. She was equally thrilled when, two years ago, I traded my C6 for a C7. And I am thrilled to have a "fellow" Vette lover, fun lover, and all-around good sport for a wife.
Female owner here! Sold my c5 frc manual here on the forum after 16 years and 104k awesome miles. I struggled with the decision to buy an A8 or another manual but since I tend to keep my corvettes for long stretches went with the A8 (not sure if there will be anyone who can drive manuals in 15 years when I sell!) Also have owned a c3 and c4 - put 80k miles on the c4. Bought a 2016 c7 Arctic white 2lt with mcr and npp in December- it's a dd and has 7500 miles already and have enjoyed every mile! My husband loves my corvette addiction! This is me meeting my c7 at kerbecks for the first time! Great information here on the forum.
Very much a woman and equally a Corvette owner. Yup, says it right there on the motor vehicle title. The 2017 GS is the third Vette and luving it so far!!
This was taken on Friday, Aug 19th during a pleasant drive along A1A (ocean) through Palm Beach County in South Florida. Doing the initial 500 miles break in.
100% Female in every way and this is my new Vette.

What's the popcorn for? I'm on motorcycle forums so I'm used to being an anomaly. I did see a female backside that belongs to a member here in an avatar....
Hah!! Yes, the 98 year old woman!! Man, g-d bless her, you spend your kid's inheritance!! We all should hope to be 98 year old corvette drivers.
what mc forums are you on? i'm on a few myself, ADVRIDER.COM is my go to. I've recently traded my kaw Concours for a Kaw Versys 1000. My forum name is kitesurfer, in case you see me.
Yep, female here. On my 5th Corvette. LOVE to do as much work on my car as I can. I detail to the point of removing my wheels a couple of times a year. Also do all my own mods. I really have enjoyed learning what this new car can do via Spring Mountain. My poor husband has driven the car once in the 15 months we owned it and that was to take it for an oil change because I had to work. The picture is my dad and I receiving our first trophies with our new cars a month after we picked them up at the museum...we tied for first place! Oh...and my 2012 Camaro is a 6 speed manual...opted for the auto on the Vette for a change of pace.

I used to have a Harley, so used to post on the Harley forum. I switched to sport bikes. My main bike is a Yamaha FZ-09. I'm also on the gixxer and zx6r forum. I like the naked sport bike most, but still like fully faired sport bikes and ride those too.
My wife drives the m7 with no problems. She puts just as many miles on it as me. She even got to be the first to drive. This is her picking it up at dealer.
Another female Vette owner checking in! I own a 2014 M7 Z51 and am a huge gearhead - my Dad taught me all of the basic car maintenance when I was a teenager due to my love for cars but I have also tinkered around with some basic mods back when I had my LS1 Z28. I get a lot of flack because I purchased my car new when I was 24 so the "who bought that car for you," or "I like Daddy's car!" comments are pretty typical. I brush it off because I didn't buy this car for attention, I bought it because my life long dream has to own a Corvette and I LOVE my car!
My wife works full time and doesn't spend time on the Corvette Forum so I thought I would post for her.
She has a 2014 Z51 convertible that is her daily driver. She has almost 40,000 miles on it now. I drive the car but it is hers. I have my own C6 ZO6.
I accompanied her to the dealership to order the car the first week they were available but she filled out the order form and picked the options she wanted. It only took her about 20 minutes to fill out the order sheet ... and another 2 weeks to decide on the Laguna Blue color.
She would change the oil if she had time but she works full time so I usually do that. Other maintenance is done at the dealership under warranty but that has been minor. It has been a great car with very little maintenance required.
This is her 4th Corvette. She has had a C4, C5, C6 and now the C7, all convertibles. I took this photo when she was picking up her new C7 at the dealership.

Reason: Add photo
1) female owners?
2) female manual drivers?
3) female gearheads (you can fix your car, etc)?
I'm usually not part of the norm, so wondering if there are any other female motorhead types here, women in general, or manual drivers.
Female driver of 2014 manual Z51 here. Took it to a HPDE after I bought it to get to speed legally, and got hooked after the first session. Hubby doesn't always have time to get both cars prepped for our track days, so I've learned to change the oil and clutch fluid, bleed the calipers, and change the pads so far. I already knew how to change tires....farm girl, lol.
NT4HIM was my first vanity plate, but hubby kept coming up with alternate meanings for the "NT", so had to revise it to NOT4HIM when the 7 letter Texas plates became available. The plate idea actually came while at the track when I let him drive it, and he brought it back to me with the tires melting off of it. His favorite alternate meaning was "Naughty for him."
My 3rd manual Corvette is on order! I had a 2000 coupe, 2009 coupe and my 2017 Grand Sport M7 is TPW 9/5! I don't do a ton of maintenance myself but I did change my shocks and swaybar end links on my 2009, all by myself (and lived to tell about it - haha) My first 2 Vettes both had/have over a 100k miles. I'm proud that I bought the first one myself at 29 yo
2014 3LT z51 female owner here.
M7. No other way.... for me.
Check out that license plate.
I don't do any maintenance on it....but I detail it for relaxation. It has CQUARTZ Finest coating so I don't have to spend too much time on it...no question that it stays clean.
