Cheesy title I know lol Wondering if anyone uses these for their C4 or any other car requiring similar amps (amperes?) for a jump start. If I can avoid using one of my AAA calls on somethin as simple as a jump start when no one's around, hell yeah
4 in 1 - Jump starter + compressor + USB battery + AC battery:
4 in 1 is a better deal but I already have a compressor. I think the 800 amps on the little one is good enough too based on the battery research I did right now. Im not expert tho

My company car needed a jump start at the airport after being parked for a few weeks, I called the roadside assistance and was shocked when he pulled out this small hand held jump starter.
The gps tracker had completely flattened the battery and this tiny jump start device that would fit the little woman's handbag worked great....I was shocked to say the least that this thing could start the truck
They do work and am temped to buy one but I have roadside assistance on both cars so no need.

Thanks. You know what, your post just jogged my memory. I used up one of my AAA calls for a friend who needed a jump start. I am almost positive the AAA guy pulled out some sort of battery pack haha
He was carrying batteries in his little van to sell too lol

I have two of these small jump starters. I put one in my wife's car even though we have AAA. The units work great. One time at a car show a 63 Vette wouldn't start. The crowd was asking around for jumper cables. I brought over the little jump starter and half the crowd chuckled when I took it out of it's case. I put it on the battery and the car started first shot. I could have sold 50 of them right there. Some grey hairs thought it was voodoo
E-bay has a ton of them for sale. Go for the largest amperage you can find. Try to stay above 18,000 Va. The kits with all the accessories are a waste IMO.
Get one from a US distributor and you will be good to go.
I first saw one of these things work at Carlisle last month - about the size of a Samsung Note 5 cellphone - cranked a GS that had accidentally drained the battery somehow. $40! Friggin' amazing!
We have AAA too, but for around $50 ±, not having to wait or have my wife wait some night in the rain for a jump...purdy cheap insurance!
I've got one of the small handheld units. Have not had to use it on the Corvette but have used it on other vehicles. Pretty impressive and pretty convenient. The documentation claims I can do 4-5 jump starts between charges.
It sure did, and I was so impressed that it started my GS, I bought 2 of them!
