This was probably the easiest mod that I have done, giving the best results. It was so nice to have the resisters included unlike the halos for my old C5. I'll get some night shots this evening.
I love mine, people tell me I blind them from behind at night.
I've become paranoid about this since I read an earlier post on Eagle Eyes. I paid no attention to the lights and just stuck them in the left, then right, sides of the car, never noting if they were numbered or were for "L" or "R" application. I noticed that your outer left light and your inner right light appear to be brighter than the lights next to them. Is that just optical or should the bright ones both be on the outside? Not being a sharp shooter here. I'm not sure mine are positioned correctly either.

If all of the LED lights are located in the correct positions, if you stand directly centered behind your car (with the lights on) about 20-30 back, all of the LED lights should be the same intensity or brightness.
If a couple of them look a little less bright than the other two. you most likely have some of them installed on the wrong side.
There are 2 pairs, a right side pair and a left side pair. You don't want to break those pairs up and they need to be installed on the correct side.
If you separate the pair or install them on the wrong side, the lights will still work of course, but they will be angled slightly wrong so the light output is not uniform when looking at them from directly centered behind the car.
It's very easy to install them wrong if your not aware of this. I have seen several sets installed incorrectly in person and the owners didn't even know it.
OP - Congrats on the LED tail lights.

I also notice different in brightness, but walk back they all look right up the same.
Has people know when you get them there isn't any instructions and looked closely for marking, so installed them, I can live with it, since I don't see what's behind me, except that it's lights the person in back.
Those all look good! I've considering doing these but have come up behind people with similar taillights and they are almost too much. Are the brighter ones suppose to be on the outside? I noticed one photo there was a bright on outside and one on the inside towards the center of car.

It's not that any of them are brighter than the others. There are 2 pairs of lights. Usually they are marked with (1 and 2) or (L and R). Each of the lights marked alike go on the same side.
Because the back bumper is curved, each pair of lights are angled slightly when mounted, to offset the curvature of the back fascia (bumper). If you mount any of them on the wrong side, that light will not be facing straight towards the back. It would be angled slightly to one side or the other.
If you go back directly centered about 30 feet backbehind the car there are 2 ways to check to see if they are mounted correctly.
1. If the lights are on, each of the 4 lights should look the same in intensity. If any of them look brighter than the others, some of the lights are on the wrong side.
2. When it's dark (with the lights OFF), take a flashlight and shine it towards the back of the car. The center light REFLECTORS should all look the same, reflecting the same amount of light back to you. If not, some of the lights are on the wrong side.

The regular LED tail lights are VERY BRIGHT, especially at night.
That's why I eventually settled on slightly tinted LED lights. That helps lessen the intensity of the lights at night just about right.
Slightly tinted compared to regular LED:
