Just traded my 2003 for the base 2013 coupe. Got home and
checked the owners book for fuel type and it is a bit ambiguous.
I assume its 93 octane premium. Oh by the way I will be needing more
help with the new addition.

Oh no ...... another fuel question ......I say this because if you do a search you will see this topic is beaten to death .....
Will the car run on regular .... yes . Will you do damage to the car , probably not . Is it worth 150 bucks extra a year to run premium over .... we bought a performance car
I run premium because I want it to run its best..... but wait till you see the replies come pouring in ......

Good luck with the car !!

Not concerned about the cost but some of the C6 reviews show regular. Happy to put in premium. I have an MBA and cant understand
the bs in the owners manuel, but thanks for the economics lesson

Welcome, You will enjoy the car ...... especially living down in the south where we can drive them virtually yeyear round
Just put the best fuel in it that's available. If you are on a trip and happen to only have access to 87 octane, it's fine. The car will adjust itself to that fuel, you just won't have the same performance until you get some higher octane in it. It's not a super critical thing for everyday driving, but if possible use 91 or better.

Based on what I've read here in the past, 91 is the best you can get in some states (like California, for example). That is their "premium". We in Georgia and Alabama, and the rest of the south from what I've seen, get 93 as our premium. That's what I use. If 91 was the best I could get while traveling, then I'd be forced to use that.
It's OK, and congrats on the new C6...octane is something that is still very misunderstood by many here, so it is a subject that gets some strong discussions going. You are at sea level, so it's best to use premium.
