Hood Light-What Year Discontinued?

Was 2006 the last C6 with a under hood light? Thanks, Mike

My 2007 did not come with one. I purchased the light at parts because I wanted to fill the hole in my aftermarket liner.

I have one on my 09, never timed it but it does take a while to shut off. It's also freaking hot don't ever touch it lol thinking of replacing with LED.

You are correct sir. Only the 2005 and 2006 were supplied with factory installed under hood lights.

I've been wondering if anybody has put L.E.D. stick on strips under the hood with a simple switch. Seems to me this would work better than the stock light.
