Had a chance to visit the museum, took advantage of some military TDY. Drove the 500 miles from fort Leonard wood. Good experience, going again in January.. hope to see the factory this time
Thanks for the pictures. I recently went this past June for the first time. Anyone going, I HIGHLY recommend you do the assembly line tour. That was the highlight of our visit. Loved it. Wanna go back and do it again next June.

My wife and I have been through Bowling Green several times going to my daughters house in Alabama and never had time to do the museum. Next time we are absolutely going to make time for it! Great pics! It's kinda hard to look at the pics of the mangled up Corvettes from the sink hole!
Ah yes, our tax dollars being put to good use. (Just Kidding) I spent 3 years at Fort Lost in the Woods. 1980 - 1983. Youngest son was born there. I'll be visiting the NCM in August when the NCCC has their convention in Bowling Green.
Each time I have been, they have changed things up to keep things interesting. The plant tour was interesting, too.
i still wish they passed out free samples of Corvettes like Kellogg's does (or at least did) with their cereals! lol
Thanks for your service! I get to support the folks out of Ft. Campbell.

hahah, that's hilarious! TDY ended on a Friday, I paid for rental,500 mile drive and hotel. Tax money didn't support this event lol. Too funny!

well I certainly don't have to say much more here, everyone knows it's a great place! Sadly I went on a Saturday so I missed the plant tour. I'll be at Fort Knox in Jan, going to try and plan a time when I'm there.
For those that have never been, definitely try to see it. The personal there are very informative and want to just talk corvettes. Can't beat that.
Great photos. Been to the museum a couple of times and I always see something new. Definitely take the plant tour when you return. Thanks for your service. Being a 12B30, I took my basic and AIT at Leonard Wood.
