Good to hear you're getting close to firing her up. Hope it all goes smoothly and you can get the car back on the road soon.
And nice looking holsters you make.

When I see a C5 like this, I think, what a great downpayment on a C7 I could have for that money they threw away on an old C5.

Rick! Beautiful holsters. Do you sell them? I have a marine buddy that'd really appreciate a gift like that. PM me if you're willing to sell one with USMC. Thanks, Dave.

I am learning how to make them, so I still have a long ways to go before I would sell one. I actually have so many firearms that it seems like I must make a new holster for each one. I don't have a leather sewing machine so all must be done by hand. Since it's by hand it gets harder each time due to severe arthritis....maybe it's time to start sewing machine shopping?
I recently purchased that Colt M45A1 Marine Corps issue 1911 and was extremely pleased with it and had to have a holster for it. I spent 8 years in the Corps before ending up the Texas Army National Guard until my retirement.
Once a Marine always a Marine...Semper Fi.
Oh here is a photo of the M45A1
