Default Electronically controlled rear wing on the C7

Would an electronically controlled rear wing have worked on the Stingray ?
I think it would have certainly been a great option to have it up or down at my disposal.
Toyota FT 1 is a great example

Nice but how much would it add to the cost?

Maybe useful for the incredibly small number who actually track their car at speeds where it would help. Just expensive poser window dressing on garage queens.

Which is why you the owner should be able to make that choice , or have the computer engage it only when reaching speeds where extra downforce is needed. Better than the permanently fixed wing they have for the ZR1 prototype.

My wife has it on her Jaguar F Type. It's OK - It goes up when she goes over 50 MPH.

Unless you're going over ~125 mph would not be useful and then the front would have less than desired downforce and you'd have an imbalance that Tadge said, when answering a forum question, they work hard to maintain!

That is the reason for no center air dam on the Z51 etc! Now Jim Hall would no doubt order the option for nostalgia reasons! As his original concept of a movable wing was banned in the CanAm series, some racing classes/series do not alllow there use,.

That FT1 looks great from the sides and back. Then they ruined the front. Why Toyota, why?

As long as you can manually raise it when parked so the waxers and car show folks can say look at this Willey........ I guess it works.

GM please dont do this and if you do make it an option!!!!!
