Bought My Dream!
I have been a Camaro guy for many years, and have owned about 20 different F bodies mostly 1st gen, a few IROC's, and currently have a triple-black 2000 Camaro SS 6-spd convertible that I bought new.
In the summer, we bought a '98 triple black C5 roadster - our first Vette! It has an automatic, so my wife can drive it as well, and it has been a lot of fun. Some of our friends asked me if that was a dream car, I told them that I wanted a C3,and my wife told them that it was a process........this one first.....she's an awesome woman!
Last month, I bought my dream car - a 69 427 tri-power roadster, in Fathom Green. Numbers matching, including motor, M21, and diff. Carbs, distributor, heads, etc, are all dated-coded correctly also, so likely original also. I have the tank sticker to validate the car, and options such as hardtop, transistorized ignition. Car is fairly low option - no PS, or PB.
I have a few minor things to do to get it safety tested and registered, and then will apply for Collector plates.
Cold here in Port Coquitlam(suburb or Vancouver, BC, Canada) right now, so little will be done over the next few weeks. For now it's just fun pulling the cover back once in a while and staring at it.
Yup, just a kid in a candy store for now.

Looking forward to learning a bunch from the "Pro's" heare on the forum.
Cheers,
Rob

Here are a couple of photos of the car from when it was down in California. I don't have any at home yet, as the weather has been terrible since I brought the car home.
Just waiting for some good weather so that I can get it safety tested and finally registered......
