Greetings Fellow Enthusiasts,
Just a quick intro. I just purchased my very first Corvette. 2014 Z51 3LT.
In the last year I've gone from a 400 hp Evolution10 to a Scion FR-S TRD Release edition 1.0, to the C7. I have been involved in autocross for about 4 years now, and summon 15 the Evolution ate a piston at an event.
Some how I ended up in a 15 FR-S. Really fun car to drive, but I'm sure one can understand going from a powerful car to one that just misses the mark, then couple that with an autmatic transmission, just didn't have the power to overcome that slush box.
B4 you ask Why I bought an autmatic, I'll explain. In 2008 I was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed at a very high rate of speed. I sustained serous injury, one of which subsequently ended in the loss of my right arm from just below my shoulder.
I'm alive, so I'll accept the auto transmission, lol
That leads me to the C7, great autox car, enough oomph to get over the automatic transmission and just plan awesome. I have some plans for her, but for now driver modification is my goal.
