Finally! I made the LEAP! NEW Long Beach Red GRAND SPORT 2LT
ARRIVED TODAY (11 JAN 2017), PICS on page 3
After years of longing for a new Corvette all the stars aligned and it finally happened! My wife gave the big thumbs up. Well, actually it was more of a “Just go buy the damn thing” J
I had driven a 2011 C6 Grand Sport and briefly considered it, but at the time I just could not get past the interior. When the 2014 C7 Stingray came out THAT was it! I knew one day (After I put my son through College) I would get one. And as luck would have it in his last year they announced the GS was coming out and that locked it for me.
I have been lurking this forum for several years just reading and not commenting because I was a non-owner. Today, New Years Day, I just sealed the deal with Mark of MacMulkin Corvette. Mark is the Man! Will be making arrangements for Intercity Lines to deliver within the next 2 weeks. I will post pics ASAP.
I have just a general shout out to all the folks here whohave keep an ongoing discussion about the C7 platform in the general discussionforum. It has been an interesting read. I hope I will bring something new to the discussions in the future.

I will post pics as soon as I can... it has to be shipped down and Intercity Lines has not even established the pickup date from MacMulkin. I too am impatiently waiting. Luckily for me the delay is giving me some much needed time to rearrange my garage. I made a terrible newbie mistake. I took all width measurements and verified I had room. Then just last night I thought to myself, "does spec'd width factor in mirrors?". DOAH!! No, so I have room but need to rearrange several shelving units.

I too sealed the deal today with Macmulkin. Had a GS on order at my local dealer but no allocation forced me to look elsewhere. But, a red tag deal on a Admiral Blue Z51 sucked me in. Traded my 2014 and also just finished putting two through college.

I tried to buy a car from them. They were $3-4K light on my trade (2007 C6 coupe). That's OK, I wasn't that excited about driving 200+ miles to make a car deal anyway (I live near NYC), made a good deal locally. I liked the salesman on the phone and they seemed like straight shooters, I just don't think a 10 year old Corvette is worth as much money in northern NE in winter as it might be here in the NY area, but the discrepancy did surprise me. I would try them again next time.

Just received word from Kenny G and MacMulkin that my Vette was just loaded on the InterCity Lines transport and that I have a delivery date of next Weds (11 Jan)! Woo-Hoo! I should be getting Pics emailed soon I will post.
