I bought my 03 AE(Anniversary package)coupe in March. It has the original painted wheels(rims) on it. I have been thinking about replacing them with something that compliments the Anniversary Red paint better. Possibly C6ZR1 or Z06 wheels. What's your opinion on this change out and does anyone have pics of the same car with some sharp wheels? Thanks for your opinions and pics.
There are 500 wheels that would look good on an AE Corvette. You are the only one who has to like any of them.
Sir, this is true. I believe I viewed your gorgeous car on a recent thread and the wheels are very nice. Actually that is what got me thinking that I should do something different with mine. Would you mind sharing what they are?

He has CCW 505a wheels on his car. Absolutely beautiful wheels on any car.
There are just so many wheel designs out there to choose from that it is very hard to say which ones would look best on your car. The wheel of choice and whether painted, high polished, or chrome really comes down to what you like.
You guys are driving me crazy. Your cars are gorgeous. Those C7Z06 Repros are spot on with that color. I will have to check pricing but I think my budget will be somewhat south of the asking price. Plus I doubt if they make them for standard size C5 tires. I may just have to shop for a set of the standard chrome 5-spoke wheels that I had on my previous 01 black coupe.
If you want to keep a similar goldish color the C5 magnesium wheels look good.

I've got those same wheels on my 01 vert - very sharp wheels but I've been eying up some Z06 chrome ones to replace them but just can't seem to pull the trigger
What size (and offset sizes) are those and did you have to get any spacers? What size tires are you running also?

No spacers are needed. The only tires available for these oem wheels are the Goodyears and Bridgestones. I went with the Bridgestones from Discount tire and very pleased with the ride and cost. They are not run-flats. You may want to also get new tire pressure sensors if you're doing this as the batteries generally last 10+- years.
