I wrapped mine in red stitched black leather. Bought the precut leather from a company on eBay. It wasn't to difficult to do, just took my time and extra careful with any cuts. I'll try to get you a pic if you like.

I ordered some stuff from them to test it out. How was the quality and fitment?

I think the quality is fine, although I'm not an expert on leather. As I mentioned, they precut, but you have to finish the cuts and trim it. I used water based contact cement after roughing up the plastic slightly. I did a small section at a time.

I just checked eBay. Search "c6 corvette leather console". They're sold out of the U.K. JF Customs. Takes a couple weeks.

I just sanded mine and repainted and cleared it in a bit darker shade of silver. It looks great now. I like the darker shade of silver.
That leather wrap with the red stitching looks very nice as well.
I tried to get those guys from the UK to make the outer edge leather only, as found on the newer consoles, but they went with the full leather in the end.
I don't have great pic of my repainted console, but you can see that it is a bit darker than the original color.
The leather I have for the shifter handle, shifter boot, etc came from the same UK company that does the full leather wrap for the console. They all have to be glued to the existing components.

The steering wheel is from another company.

Wife and I are going to Albuequerque today to the Tandy leather Co. Will be looking for dark blue or maybe silver leather. Will take the vette and lay some different colors across the console to see what they look like.
Not crazy about doing the console in black.

When did you talk to them about doing the outer edge leather only? I considered buying their full leather wrap and modifying it myself but it would be nice if they had the option you described.

I just bought their skins for the door panel and am planning on doing the install myself. Should be a fun project.

I initially asked them in Feb of 2015, and again in 2016 around the same time. I sent them the patterns, etc. but never heard anything back.

This was my correspondence with them.

Subject: Patterns for radio surround console
From: [email]lv2tour@**** To: ********
Here are the digital pics of the Bristol board patterns that I sent you, and a few other pictures to show the leather appointments.
The patterns-and printed pictures of the c6 Corvette Radio Surround Console were mailed out on Monday, so you should receive them soon.
I do have an extra radio surround console, but it would be very costly to ship to you, as the size box would be 24"x16"x12"
Hopefully the patterns will be adequate to make the leather

In the Spring of 2016, they told me they would have something soon, and to look for it.
It was the full leather wrap, and not the edge pieces as per the 2008+ consoles.

I just gave up on them to do it. Maybe I'll bite the bullet someday and purchase a 2008+ console with the leather.

I might send them a message asking for the same. Who knows, maybe they might do it at some point.

I know Redline Goods is always looking for new product. Maybe I'll prompt them.

The project is a few weeks away but I will post the pics when I finish up. If it goes well, I might pick up a few more of their pieces.

I wish they had the dash for the C6 like they do for the C5.
