Blacking out or replacing my roof panel is on my list of things to do. When I see it on other cars it is extra motivation to just get that stuff done.
And that roof is pretty gnarly! Must be nice and makes the car feel a little more open and 'airy'.

I just did mine and it worked out Fine, After a lot of swearing and struggle....Took me longer than you but I finally got it....Glad I had All the Shop Mechanical Manuals for the car....I just Hit 60K miles on mine! Bought it in 2009 with 15K on it....and love it!

Nice thinking on the second photo, but next time you need to make the speedometer match the odometer. Get that road trip with the wife planned and when you hit 55,555 miles take the photo at 55 MPH.
