I have joined the Pewter Gang..to be dead honest I liked the miles and price more than the color before I bought the car, but now that I've spent the day into night with seeing the color in different light situations I really like it. It's a bit of a chameleon for sure..I see one other interior like mine. Very elegant, and I guess somewhat rare.
I'm lovin' my car and proud to be with all the fine Pewter vettes. I was so excited I grabbed the first few pics in the driveway at nite ...more to come

I love the Pewter, but it seems that the cars that catch the eye of judges are red or black? Guess what? I bought the car for ME - and if I never get a trophy from a show that's fine because it's still a winner every time I start it up and go through the gears and hear the music coming from those Borla Stingers.

Pewter is somewhat rare, over the yrs I don't remember seeing any to speak of..But I bought one..So I had my Pewter 3 days here in Vegas and I hadn't seen any other 'vettes of any color yet..
but this morning I take mine to my local shop, just to show my mechanic, and he's a got a beautiful PEWTER 6 spd 'vert sitting there (tan top/interior)..wow I think, now there's a coincidence.
OK I split and go for a morning Brew. I sit down and not 5 min later another Pewter 'vert (black Top, like mine) cruises by..what are the chances..?? deja Vu syncronicity ?? who knows ?..oh well it's a good corvette story.

Was no other Pewter at the show.

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, I know this is an old post from last year, but I just acquired MY Pewter 2002 C5 with just 24,500 miles on her, and also just accidentally found this Pewter C5 photo thread, so I am proud to introduce my new toy and post a couple quick photos too.....
I am planning some gifts for her, a Vette Essentials custom Pewter / Black interior, the ACI front spoiler, the SLP rear spoiler, AND, possibly, if I have any pennies left after all that, some TSW Nurburgring wheels..... We will see! I will post photos after each addition.
I also hope there may be a few more Pewter C5 owners lurking out there who did not see the thread in the first place, who would be happy to post their photos too!
