Looks great! Ordered pretty much the same set-up except went with the polished wheels instead. Same tires and size. Was contacted today by the tire shop saying they would be ready tomorrow. Can't wait!

What wheel width and backset did you go with? Any pics from the back?
I was considering swapping to 17's myself......right now I have sticker shock.

So 8 inch wide or 9 inch wide? I was thinking of trying 9 wide with 4 1/2 inch backset,..so keeping the stock wheel centerline. Maybe on the back try 9 1/2 wide,....but tire selection is limited.

Very nice color and wheel combination. I just did the fit check with my 17 X 8 with 4" backspacing. No clearance issues and they clear the parking brake cable and mount. Here are some pics.

Very nice.
I'm thinking about these as they have black spokes to go with my blackout custom theme.

Tire selection is limited? What size are you looking for?

I was thinking 275/50-17 for the back. I found Nitto NT450's and M&H drag radials,....nobody else has that size. Right now I have 295/55-15 MT drag radials,..but they do stick out a tad, and if I spring for new rims, I was hoping to tuck the tire in a bit, without giving up too much width .

Here a shot of the drag radials.

How much bigger are the 295 drag radials, I have the 275's. Oh yeah to the o.p. they look great! I don't think lowering the back would work the front would be higher. You may need to lower both ends or a bigger rear tire. But it looks good anyway.

Yes OP,...Your wheels look great.
I did find a site that calculates wheel offset, and I think you have 9 inch rims, which is what I was hoping to get. Sorry, don't mean to take over your thread,...but the rims I have in mind are custom pieces and that is why all the questions. Cost a bundle,...got to get it right when I decide to order them.

The 295's would be about an inch wider that 275's, which still won't fit under the fender completely, but would come in maybe 1/2 inch,....I do like the 28 inch height though. Fills the wheel well perfectly.

I think 17 inch wheels are the perfect size for the C3

8" wide 17" wheels. Do your homework. I called American Racings tech line for a little help. The tires were hard to find in 255/50/17. Not a lot of choice but the nittos are pretty nice.
