After months of basically just lurking, I'll have my Vette tomorrow
New '16 Z51 2LT with MSRC and PVDR. Pics to follow soon.
I did a ton of research aided by this forum, as well as "the other forum". I was able to negotiate to just a tick under 24% off MSRP without any additional dealer fees, just tax title and registration. I only have a $500 discount for Ohio Farm Bureau, no Loyalty as this is my first Corvette
The dealer is about 2.5 hours away. I'm having them update the Andriod MyLink and load the latest Nav maps. They're also verifying the correct engine oil level and diff oil level. They also agreed to install my GM rear mudguards, and ACS extended front guards.
Anything I'm missing? I was going to get a bra, but couldn't get one delivered in time.
Thanks for all the info and help, I'll be more active here now, lol.
Sounds like a very solid deal. The best price on a 17 Z51 that I see is 14.5% off so you are getting another 10% or so off that on a still brand new 2016.
Just make sure you get the insurance and financing lined up before you go in and enjoy!

GM 0% financing is in place, and I just printed the insurance card.
Wow, I thought I held the record for best deal on a new Vette but it looks like we're tied
Seems like you have all of your T's crossed and I's dotted so no other advice to give other than to take your time inspecting the vehicle before you sign the paperwork. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement and miss something like a paint flaw.
Congratulations and as others have stated, get ready for a sleepless night! Post pictures tomorrow and get ready for life as a Corvette owner, you will LOVE it!
Then you killed this deal. That 0% finaincing is worth thousands of dollars in additional savings. Nice job!
I agree nice job.
0% is such a deal. The interest you would've paid alone invested in the market over 6 years would amount to a nice down payment on the next one lol.

I considered buying it outright, or a substantial down payment from my IRA, but with the 0%, and paying the tax on the withdrawal, it was a no-brainer.
Take the pass on the bra. It will leave rub marks in short time.
New front bumper is only 400.00 + paint if needing one down the road.
I passed on the clear bra, Xpel etc.. myself. Oh, I did have a run in with a head on runaway hubcap. Left 2 marks, looks like a few of my rock chips. The new ZR1 bumper should fit nicely when available.
