Recommendation for Expel or Cleartastic in ATL
Hello Everybody,
I'm looking to put some paint film on my Z06 that got salt and peppered on the rear quarters long before I realized it was even a problem. I thought they were just little pebbles in the wheel wells on my way home.
I understand there are two products expel and cleartastic.
Secondarily I understand the quality of the job is going to be directly relative to the experience of the installer.
Cleartastic makes what appears to be a DIY kit for me and I'm modestly talented so I'm thinking that might be one approach.
Or should I find a Quality shop to install expel which might be a better product.
Please chime in if you have any direct experience with both products and or if you know who is a good installer in northern Georgia I live north of Atlanta.
Thank you in advance to all you guys as always,
Kevin
I had Xpel done @ Shine Auto in Alpharetta @ McFarland, which also comes with a 10 year warranty. They did a fantastic job on my C7 GS @ a great price, and their shop is ridiculously clean with some cool cars to look at. I had my mirrors and front end up to the hood air duct covered for about $630. The owner is also a really cool guy to talk to. I can post pics later.

The installer at Shine did mine when he worked for Xpel directly. I have since then had my car detailed at Shine and they do a great job. The shop is very clean and well organized. I spent probably 30 minutes talking to their detailer getting tips on how to care for my car. Check out their open house this weekend if you have time.
