I am interested in the ZR1 style front splitter (fiberglass, painted to match the car) from Zip, for the standard C6. I have emailed them, then talked to them on the phone, but because these are painted as ordered, they don't have them in stock to check. Below is a screen shot from their page for the item I am interested in, along with a rough line drawing guessing at the shape of the splitter (like if you cut it in half and looked at it from the side).
If you have one of these, I would love pictures of the underside installed, at center, near the air duct spaces, and at the ends. More importantly, I am trying to determine two things: 1) Is there a lip underneath, like in the drawing? 2) If there is a lip, how deep is it, that is, what is the measurement (mm, inches, whatever is easy for you) on the inside edge of the lip in the direction of the arrows at the bottom of the drawing. The guy I talked to seem to think these had a lip that was around two inches, but wasn't sure.

I didn't get mine from ZIP but it looks identical to that one in the picture you posted. Here is what the front edge is shaped like.

Most of these look the same from the top, but not all made the same, and that's why this is so critical. The one you posted is shaped similar to the one made by C7 Carbon - and won't allow me to add the support I need to. Katech makes one that does have this extra lip, but is going to really cost for shipping and extra step of prep and painting. If I have to go this route I will, but hoping there may be another option that is built well and will cost me considerably less for the whole project.
