New C6 owner

I will be picking up my "new to me" 2005 C6 today. Black with silver interior. lt3 trim and Z51 package. 50K miles. CAI, Billy Boat exhaust X pipe and exhaust. NO engine mods.

This will be a weekend driver/cruiser and personal "toy". The main reason I bought a vette (that I do not need) is a late model vette with a cam and exhaust drives me nuts. Music to my ears!

I drag raced the 70's and the idea of a 12 second or less street machine has me fascinate . I thought of building a fast street/ drag C6 but after looking around at 9-10 second cars I cant afford to be competitive.

Wanting a recommendation on rowdy but streetable cam and parts needed

Nope black exterior, grey/silver interior, black wheels. Stock except x pipe and BB exhaust.

Thanks for the welcome men. I kicked the wife out of the garage and started to clean, polish/wax, detail car. and general inspection.

The car is super clean for 12 years and 70K miles. Darn thing is fast too. Got her a little sideways banging third at @ 5,500 today.

Guy's I'm not really sure if I got took or not but I think my vette is plastic. LOL

Couple things...
Your car must be a 1SB, top of the line for '05.
The interior should be steel gray.
You car is made from recycled rat-tail combs.
We don't believe a word you are saying until you post pics.

the "vette you don't need" is the best kinda vette. i would never own one as an only car or daily driver...... just wouldn't seem right to me.
