What's your car's average?
I live in Maine and do mostly rural driving. Trips to the big city of Portland, Me and Boston, Ma from time to time. Most roads I travel are 35-55 mph posted speeds. I am not easy on the car but don't beat either. It's my daily driver when there isn't salt and snow on the roads. It's a 2016 z51 A8.
When my car was new I set the "B" trip meter so I could monitor it's average over the life of the car. I started it a few miles late but it doesn't effect the results displayed. Using a few of the information screens it is easy to figure the stuff out even if it wasn't set at the beginning.
My Averages are:
20.4 MPG
36 MPH
1294 RPM
My Trip B screen (photo 1) shows the top two but here is how I confirmed over the total mileage.
Avg MPG = total miles\fuel used (photo 2)
Avg MPH = total miles\engine hours (photo 3)
Avg RPM (lifetime revs x 10000)\engine hours\60 (photo 3)

), and commute at 65 regularly but my average is 36 MPH.I know if I babied the car everywhere I go I could up the mileage a fare amount but that's not how I drive or like to drive. But it is interesting to see what maybe someone who does baby their car all time gets for average speed or RPM as well as mileage. Manual, Automatic... Base or Z06, big city daily driver vs highway everyday etc.

However, I should note that the first 1800 miles was interstate from Atlantic City to San Antonio. I got 28 mpg on the trip.
