Hi, I'm taking the seat bottoms apart to make adjustment track repairs. I guess I should ask first if these clips are installed correctly. So do you just pry them open or just slide them off the metal frame? I'm going to reuse the leather seat covers. Do I need to purchase new s clips or are these reusable?. Do the s clips have teeth that dig into the leather and metal?
Yes, they are reusable. I prefer reusing the originals because the aftermarket clips are hard to install. So, in my opinion only replace them if you have no other options.

I don't have the original clips. I recovered the seats a few years back about 35,000 miles ago. I think the clips came with the covers.
