The 56-62 were the best (Route 66). As a driver I like my C5. C6 does nothing for me. The C7 is sharp.

Corvette sales are down with deep discounts probably due to expectations of a mid-engine C8.

I honestly don't understand how a piece like this, could be posted on this forum, with basic substantive errors.

They couldn't find a photo of a stock C3, instead of the butchered monstrosity?

Wow. Might as well call the C4 an ugly pig. Needless to say, I don't share the author's opinion on this topic. I think C4's are beautiful and I've had that opinion since 1984. I'm proud to say that I own one and probably always will. I'd like to add a Corvette from another generation someday, but not if it means giving up my C4!

I'm with ya Darkred. I too still own my 88 C4 bought used in 1995. Wore out a 07 C6 and now have a 2015 C7.
Why is this in the C7 Forum?

The author is a writer and nothing more and full of $hit. If the C4 was such a black eye on Corvettes history then why was the C7 interior modeled after it? Clearly the C4 still has some fans within GM. Is the author an owner,I doubt it,probably not even into the hobby. Love mine!

The most idiotic thing I've read in a while.

Who is Conor Fynes? Some English major that craps out garbage disguised as music journalism for $15/hr.

How can you expect automotive commentary of any substance? Get real.
