Nice, yeah the backhoe is mine but I run a bunch of other pieces of equipment, I'm also small crane certified (stupid certification). That was an emergency watermain repair I performed last year. Here is one I did the other day

This is what I seen when I first arrived on scene, driver and passenger were ok.

16 inch C900/PVC water main

This was last weekend. I felt like I was in an episode of The Twilight Zone.

I actually get vertigo so badly in those situations, that it feels like my head is falling off and landing below my feet, and my fingers and toes are full of soda water.

Can I be at the edge of a building? Sure, but it's a case of determination being stronger than physical and mental imperatives. I actually get vertigo from Youtube videos of people wandering around on the edge of buildings.
I agree. I had no problem with skydiving but get me near the edge of a roof and my stomach is in my throat. Same thing with cliff jumping as a kid. I had to close my eyes or I couldn't do it.

That's how i imagined him.
Now i saw nsf for the first time, he looks like a young stud! I was HONESTLY suprised!
That's what she said

Hey Brandon: That must have been a faulty install on the water main, slipped coupler or something, Blue Brute water line doesn't break that easily.
I worked all over the SD area, mostly for Colich & Sons doing pipe line work, back in the day of course.

Yes, really sad. Even Val Kilmer said some nice things about meeting Adam West to talk with him about playing Batman.

Hey Bobby, yeah it was bad bedding and condition of pipe. This pipe line was installed only 20 years ago by a less than accountable private contractor. I've worked for my current employer for the past 17 years but I've been in the business for 23 years.

ATTENTION NSF-BOBBY: I believe it was Jaime a few pages ago who said he was surprised that you don't look as old as he thought you might.

I agree.

And you were the high-wire guy? (or was that Batman75? ) Wow, no thanks. There is NO WAY in hell I could ever do that job.

That what you call "high-wire guy" was me. It was a fun job. Working outside being paid to 4-wheel up the side of mountains. Set poles, string wire, work energized high voltage electricity (4 and 12 thousand volts). The picture of me on the wire in the previous post, I was replacing insulators on a de-energized 230 thousand volt line. The height was the least of the risks and I would do it all over again.

The picture is of my apprentice class in 1965. I'm the guy standing on the top level.
