50 years ago today my girl was born in St. Louis. She's every bit as pretty today as she was then. As a side note, I graduated from high school on this same day 50 years ago. Happy Birthday Pearl
What was your favorite song #1 at HS Graduation Time
"I get around " by Beach Boys was mine.... I lived near the beach
I grew up in Rhode Island and surfed quite a bit at Narragansett Beach. The Beach Boys music was very popular then, for sure. My personal #1 was "Whiter shade of pale" by Procol Harum. "Light my Fire" by The Doors, "For what it's worth" by Buffalo Springfield...ton of great music during the 60's.

I'm in a quandary for my car's 50th birthday. The C-2 Registry says it is this Friday the 17th and the NCRS Birthday book says Monday the 19th. Does that mean I get to celebrate for 2 days?
P.S. I was discharged from the Army on 6-18-67.

I think three days would be appropriate...don't want to forget celebrating the 18th
Thanks to all for the kind words. These cars tend to take on a life of their own...they almost become family members.
Kevin, if you truly would like to hear the whole story I would be more than happy to share. But, suffice to say, the "Pearl" was meant to be mine from the day she was born.
