its funny that they faked the black leather trim tag and then went with the 455 of white and black vinyl
Keith, they actually gave a pretty good and sort of reasonable explanation in the description for that.
WE PURCHASED THIS CAR 5 YEARS AGO FROM A DOCOTR IN FT MYERS HE OWNED THE CAR FOR OVER 20 YEARS HE BOUGHT THE CAR FROM CORVETTE CARLISLE IN THE EARLY 90s PER THE TRIM TAG WAS BORN BLACK WITH BLACK LEATHER AFTER A FEW YEARS OF OWNERSHIP THE DOCTOR LOVED THE CAR BUT TO HOT WITH THE BLACK INTERIOR FOR FLORIDA SO HE HAD IT CHANGED TO A WHITE INTERIOR AND PAINTED THE STINGER TO MATCH WE SOLD THE VETTE TO A GOOD FRIEND YEARS AGO AND JUST TOOK IT BACK ON TRADE ON A NEW FERRARI 488 COUPE THIS VETTE WAS BODY OFF RESTORED BACK IN THE 90s AND HAS LACQUER PAINT AND THE MILEAGE IS BELEIVED TO BE 70300
believe it or not, the screw is correct on a 67 door panel.
With all due respect, it's not. Door panel screws are conical, not flat philips head screws. The one pictured is a flat (not conical) that is for the radio side panel. See pics below. Thanks.. Door panel screws on left, radio panel screws on right

No problem. I have judged a lot of survivor/benchmark/Bowtie 67's and every one, without exception, had the conical washered philips screw on the wing of the door panel. Also, every original door panel i have ever seen had the conical depression in the door panel as opposed to a flat depression. Just my opinion, and i certainly do not know everything by any means....but i've seen a lot of 67's....
I don't even look at the BBs for sale anymore - there is SO much chicanery out there its appalling... The 'going in' assumption on these cars should be that they're a fake until definitely proven otherwise...if it can even be done...
For us trim tag novices, what's wrong with it? I'm always looking to learn. Ed
You can get the Trim Tag book from NCRS and read all about it, I did, and still get confused. However the answer on this particular tag on what is wrong is "everything." Enlarge a photo of a known real tag and compare letters, fonts, spacing, position on tag etc to this tag. The differences are striking.

Here's mine for comparison, my tag verified by Al Grenning (CCAS). Spend some time comparing all the apsects of these two tags and glaring differences will become obvious. Things don't line up! Fonts are wrong! Or, quoting from a post above, Face Palm

I fear we are getting off topic but before I ask on the NCRS board since door panels were installed at both Smith and Louis plants did they use the same screw. And since the repro house only sell the one you say is correct and not the ones like in the radio side panel and how people restore and change cars to a catalog and not what's correct. What really is correct
and as for screws in the door panels, I really don't want to argue about it, and I'm sorry, but I'm with Keith, every original car I have had (or judged) did not have the recessed head. I thought I had a picture of the correct screw in my computer but I could not find it. may look through my interior parts as I did have some original door panels still. and have never seen a correct repop screw yet (kick panels included in that)
