Just someone messing with you, just to see your reaction. Just ignore it, and it will go away. If they wanted to cause damage, you would have seen scratches in the paint, not some water bottles on the windshield.

If I may ask you a somewhat personal question. I don't know you or what your job entails but do you tend to get stressed out relatively easy? Are you the type of person who is easily riled up by your coworkers? Are you very particular about certain things(or everything)? I only ask because I work with a few guys who are like this. The rest of us often make subtle comments or intentionally make a seemingly innocent mistake because we know the reaction we will get from these people. Childish maybe but it's entertaining and there's no real harm done. I suspect this may be one of those instances.
i suppose so im one of those people, but the people trying to get a reaction shouldn't mess with people like me. I found that as an offense and not a joke, and i don't care who did it. i would never prank someones car back, id rather approach them in person and put a fist through their nose and maybe they will learn their lesson. once il let it go but if the prank becomes repetitive then i just cant hold myself back

Blackvue camera system. alerts to smartphone when motion is detected. You can get a four camera system. Get the battery supply , this will power for 8 hours before going to car battery. Will record while driving also, I don't believe it will lower insurance cost, although it takes care of the "he said,she said" scenerio.

If not mentioned already, buy a cheap dash cam, one that starts automatically when motion in the front or sides of the car is detected.
That will at least show you who it is doing the H2O bottles on the wipers trick.

If this little incident really bothers you that much, talk to your coworkers in a stern but respectful manner and ask them to please not touch your car. If it happens again you either have an instigator or someone who just doesn't like you very much.

I say set up a go-pro or other camera to catch the culprit, then track them down and go all Pulp Fiction on them. (If ya havent ever watched it, you should....at least till you get to the Kahuna Burger scene.)
