I've had reasonably good experiences with Reliable. Car shows up generally on time, well cared for, and no damage. That's my baseline expectation and they've always met it. Longest I've shipped is from a Mecum auction in Floria to Seattle, and the car made it.
If you don't get the driver's phone number they don't have much for tracking, but otherwise, I'd recommend them.
I used Montway and they sourced an independent carrier. It was an enclosed transporter but not as nice as Reliable or Intercity transporter. It did a job and nothing to complain. $1450 for ATL to Norcal. About $600-700 cheaper than big name carriers.

Another vote for Intercity. Most of the exotic cars guys recommend them. Here's mine coming off the truck. The owner called after delivery to check on the transport and be certain I was satisfied!
