Well kicked my wife's car out of the garage to install my CF headlight inserts. I've got some other treats for the car if I have time to put them all on before my HPDE At AMP in Atlanta. Here's the before pic.

It was pretty easy to remove the lights without taking the bumper completely off.

Hardest part of the job opening up my headlights. Separating the lenses wasn't that difficult. Removing the old sealer a PIA!

It was kind of hard not damaging my old insert without stripping or breaking the screw post holding the inserts.

OOOHHH!! Shiny.

After fitting my old lenses I decided to order some new ones because of pits and scratches. I was told by Sebring Corvettes I should get them this week. More to come.

While I was waiting for the lenses I decided to put some sound deadener in the rear of the car.

Trying my hand at wrapping in Carbon fiber.

Finally got my lenses in. The delivery was delayed and when I finally got them this is how the box looks. I think I need to send a message to the supplier on packaging these parts. It's a miracle they weren't damaged.

Where did you get the CF inserts? I would love to do this with mine. It would complement the CF splitter and side skirts so well. Post up pics once you have them all installed!

Interesting. I have the Akrapovic exhaust as well. The drone can definitely be pretty bad on the highway. So glad that it retains the bimode setup though. Definitely pretty much gone with the flaps closed.

Looking forward to the finished product!

I like it.

Always thought a black roof and headlights went nicely with a carbon hood.

You did rerun the Autoblip wires while the console was out?

Might want to recover the splitter center w some wrap to match carbon fiber direction.

Did you do the whole car or just hatch area, and how much did you need to buy?

I plan to do mine this winter, Did you do 100% coverage of the back or just the majority of it? I've heard 100% is not necessary, and some say it is.

Love the CF10's btw!

Made sure AutoBlip and AutoCal stayed connected. Think I'll leave the tape as is for now.
