99% of the time this is caused by a clogged "udder". The C-5 has some rubber drain tubes installed near the firewall th drain the cowl area of water. It is not uncommon for these to get clogged and then the water spills over unto the floorboards.
This is not a trivial problem as the that area (the passenger side wheel well) contains the body control module (a needed computer) Do a search here on draining and cleaning the 'udders' and do it soon, before it gets expensive.

Have you washed the car recently?? If so the wiper well udders are likely plugged up and when that happens wash water can back up into the passenger foot well. WELL known C5 issue. Read here, post #1:
The AC drain tube may be plugged up and not allowing AC condensate to freely drain out of the catch pan it is collected into during AC oeration. When that happens the water backs up into the passenger foot well. Read the above link but post #3. Also a well known C5 issue............
As mentioned above the water can EASILY get the BCM wet and you will have much more serious issues to deal with. Get the udders cleaned out ASAP.
I drive with the AC on a lot. Could that condinsation tube be leaking into inside of my floorboard somehow?
Most likey it is clogged and backing up into the car. The A/C condensation drain tube protrudes from the passenger side firewall above the exhaust. It is a rubber tube with a 90 degree bend and when it gets clogged will leak back into your passenger side floor and can cause serios problems if it leaks enough water to get into the BCM and fuse panel located under the passenger floor compartment.
If you can reach the tube and squeeze it to relase the clog often caused by a crusty build up of gunk clogging up the opening of the tube it should start draining properly again, resolving your problem. Be careful with it because the A/C drain tube comes off very easily. I accidentally knocked the drain tube off on my wife's 2000 while trying to squeeze my right hand in place to grab hold of it and never found it. I had to buy a new one from the local dealer for a few bucks. Using my left hand to install the new drain was a little easier due to the angle.
