Great pictures as usual, Mike especially the Malcolm Konner pictures.
I would love to see more pictures taken at Malcolm Konners, especially of the Corvette shows over the years. How about a picture thread dedicated to Malcolm Konners?

Thanks, Mike

Thanks Mike for another week of great pictures.

Congrats. to all the new owners, and the Admiral Blue Z06 is really especially with the Twilight Blue Interior package

The Black Rose GS coupe and convertible are sharp too........

best picture for me is below................. to see where they started from originally and the direction the various generations have moved the needle forward.................

have a great week ahead.....................

A friend of mine in Colorado bought 14 of these when they were first released. I think he paid around $14K each. He sold 12 of them a year later for around $30K each and kept 2 of them for years. I have no idea what he did with them as I've lost touch with him over the years. Thanks for the great pics Mike. And Happy Halloween.

Yeah, the price list was interesting. In 1972 I bought a 1969 Stingray 350/350 with 19,000 miles on it for $3,200 and sold it a year later for $3,200. Of course it wasn't a 427 but it was still a great buy at the time.

Still one of my favorite Corvettes.

There were countless number of these that were purchased and put into storage for decades without ever being driven. You still see them come up for auction that still have the window sticker on the window and never been driven. They look like they just rolled off the production line.

Looks like the ZR1 is ready for an overseas flight. Is there an upcoming international car show soon?

I believe this pic was taken a few months ago when it was tested in Germany.

In Dec. 1976 bought a new 1977 for $9,500 out-the-door. Sold it in Summer 1978 with 10K miles on it for $9,300 to a wholesaler. That, was a bargain. Drive a new Corvette 18 months for (((($200.00)))) plus the $600.00 sales tax and insurance. Can't do that anymore though.

Ya know that feeling you get when you see that first love, once again, and she looks ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN' KILLER??

Well, here she is, once again, a reasonable facsimile of my first-ever Vette, a '59, white, w/a red interior, way back in '64.

That Vette is absolutely gorgeous!!

Mike, thanks for posting!

Mike and Criswell “still have something in the tank” with the very few remaining Black Rose C7’s on planet earth.

Another good post, Mike.

In that newspaper advertisement from Kansas Motor Company, there are a number of cars that I would love to have in my garage, especially if I could get them now at those prices.

Great post! And yes, the covered 2019 ZR1 in the transport was taken several months ago when it was headed to the Nürburgring for testing.
