Mines the same - door won't open. But if you persist and keep pushing the door open button it will finally open and sound a chime.

There is nothing in the owners manual that says it works that way.

What if your car stalls on a railway track? I know a bit extreme but not impossible...

I'll check it out later today but I'm pretty sure I just have to unlock the doors with the button on the door to open. Seems like I've had to do that for some reason before.
