Sorry, but only a 5! I expected more from the Corvette team for a "super car". To me it looks like a Z06 with a Honda Civic wing stuck on the back. For a true super Corvette, I should be able to take one glance and say OMG - Not there goes a Z06 that someone stuck a big wing on!
Far too often people are expecting car makers to come out with a completely new car body when they debut their upgraded models.
Z06 and ZR1 are different classifications of the SAME car.
Even Porsche slaps on a big spoiler and upcharges over $100,000 for their 911 Turbos.
A 10+. They have clearly enhanced the design while integrating all necessary internal cooling upgrades. The front fascia is beautifully designed and ties in the engine compartment and wheel cavity air management systems without resorting to tacked on dive planes and fender vent cutouts that Viper applied. Even Porsche's 300K GT2 RS with their cheap looking, snap in LG inspired square front fascia corner vents pale in comparison to the ZR1's well thought out design. Both aero level wings serve their intended purpose with far better integration than the ACR, GT3 RS, etc.

I love the car primarily b/c of its extreme power and performance but looks wise I only give it a 6, as to me it looks just like a C7 Z06 with a fugly wing, aggressive hood (which I love) and hate the cheesy looking C6 style rear wheel brake ducts (why give it a dated C6 style brake duct for which I never liked in the first place)!
Yeah, I'm picky son of a bitch!

Parts which functionally improve the performance of the car (like the wing), even they take the styling outside of the conventionally accepted envelope, don't bother me.

Overall, 9.5. Side vent revision from the C7 Z06 exhibits the same problem that happened with the C6 ZR1. When the ZR1 was first shown I asked a very high Corvette tech exec about the side vent design. He said that unfortunately, they had to arbitrarily had to come up with something different from that on the C6 Z06. They forgot a basic maxim, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

I give this one a solid 9.9,nothing is perfect. NO BLACK WHEELS! On second thought that red top looks a little -off- a black top would better,in present form I give it a 9 and I dont even like a C7 enough to own one but I do like that one,it would look nice parked next to its older and wiser brother.

I also see this clown is back.
The ugly and outdated C6 Z rear brake ducts really looks like chit in my opinion. I never even liked those on a C6 Z06, why would they throw those on on C7 ZR1?
Fast with class my friend. And for those who don't need a second wife in a black car. The Gray fits the bill
Not to dull is it? Lol
as for the new ZR1? I love almost all of it. I give it an 8 because the nose isn't as nice as the rendering. But regardless car is very nice and puts down
This is the look i was hoping for. The front cutouts are not like this. This is bad ***!
some big numbers.
