My apologies for reviving an old thread, but I had a few questions for anyone who has done this; In my case, wld be a red pinstripe on black carbon flash metallic. I've seen pics from numerous members where this has been done, I've yet to decide if I want to also do the lower edge of the splitter as that may be a bit much for my taste, but I do like the brake duct highlight as it offers some contrast to the all-black grille.
Questions:
1. Did you used the 1/4" pinstripe tape (I have some from AutoZone), or did you buy a pre-cut "custom" application that I've seen offered from some vendors?
2. Is heat required once you get to the curved section or is this something achieved without heat?
3. If standard 1/4" pinstripe was used, how has it held up?
Much appreciated and my apologies again for the thread necrophilia.
Best regards,
Greg

Finally had a chance today to lay down some of the 1/4" pinstripe tape, I'll post better pics tomorrow, but here is how mine ended up.

As a side note for anyone looking to do the same: With the proper tension on the tape, no heating was required, just had to pull it taut enough to round the corner and then smooth by hand ... took all of 3-4 minutes per duct. Pin-stripe tapes will obviously vary in composition, etc, so YMMV....
