C6 Corvette ZR1 & Z06General info about GM’s Corvette Supercar, LS9 Corvette Technical Info, Performance Upgrades, Suspension Setup for Street or Track
This is Corvette #3 for me over the span of about 15 years. My first was a 1990 Black/Black 6 speed coupe that I thought was fast at 250hp
I then moved on to a 2004 Z06 that I had for a couple years and really liked that car, but the C6 ZR1 has been my dream car ever since it came out in late 2008.
So here we have one of 54 Night Race Blue ZR1s. I got the car from a local dealer here in Houston and had been going back and forth with the salesman for around 3 weeks before pulling the trigger. It was a great buying experience (the extended time period was me deciding on whether or not I should spend the money). The dealer made it very special for me so that was cool.
It's a 3ZR with ebony interior and yellow calipers. It's the only NRB that I have come across with yellow calipers and they really stand out in person making it look somewhat exotic.
Here are some iPhone pics and one Samsung pic taken by my buddy with a Gen 5 Viper.
Beautiful car...don't change a thing! I don't think I would have ordered the yellow calipers if buying new...but seeing them on the car, they certainly don't look out of place.

They jump out in person. The dark blue is more of a classy, subtle color so the yellow calipers add a bit of exotic flair IMO.
